first thing u have to stop blaming yourself.
even if it was your fault, you can condemn yourself for life.
second, if you have honestly tried to get him back for reasonable amount of time, and if it has not worked you need to understand that that relationship is not meant to be.
You need to understand that you may be meant to be with somebody else.
Then you have patient enough to wait for the right person.
I try not get so attach to a person to the point it's so hard for me to let him/her go.
