Yes Eric, ure right I've had many wonderful men that have thoroughly read my profile and appreciate how i try to convey my personality This is what i call THE REAL MEN

Kinda hard to read the profiles whe msot of them are uninspiring, or have nothing written on them besodes the word "Hi." Like seriously, ladies? Or should I say scammers? lol We look at the pics and some of us more enlightened ones can actually tell a fake profile from a real one. The difference? A real profile actually HAS SOMETHING TO SAY IN THE "ABOUT YOU" SECTION BESIDES THE WORD "HI." So yeah the smarter ones like me are not buying your fake bulshit. The profile pics are cute, but we know thats not what you really look like if your profile is mostly empty. 
But I do love laughing at the gullible ones who believe they're talking to a "real woman." That is hilarious, poor fellas. Tsk, tsk! I must be a part-time scammer then, because when I decided to change my profile, I deleted my text and replaced it with the generic, "Hi." until I decided on how I wanted to rewrite things. (You better keep a close eye on me.) Another good way to spot the foreign scammers is when their first sentence has so many grammatical errors that it's difficult to read. (so I guess we ought to keep a close eye on you, as well.) I'm curious... does someone who enjoys laughing at gullible people really have a zen soul? I only ask because I am obviously neither smart, nor enlightened, having unwittingly responded to several messages from someone with a simple "Hi." profile, shortly after I first joined this site. I suppose I probably shouldn't have agreed to meet her publicly, at the local pizza place, either. It's a good thing I finally realized that we weren't looking for the same things, before she got away with anything more than just a calzone. Yes, there are scammers everywhere, but a profile with an empty 'About Me' section is no more an indication of anything than is a profile without a picture. Some people are simply hesitant to post their personal data on the internet. And with so many arrogant, and judgermental people online, can you really blame them? I agree with you, I for one was hesitant before to post my personal data especially my picture, because I thought some people are judgemental and arrogant ....every individual have different characters and we don't know who is viewing our profiles. Also identity theft is rampant in social media network, posting pics sometimes is not safe. Everyone has their own reason for not filling up profiles, bad or good. Whether you read profile or not it's nil, what is important is when you are really interested with the person message, email or talk to get to know someone. Though yes, I believe that in anyway a complete profile would somehow help and give us an overview about the person but still its not a guarantee that everything in it is true. Sometimes after reading a profile , I ask the person again about his personal data to confirm if what he has written are true or not , so sad to know mostly lies:) I have tried also before not posting a pic or I just chose a quotation or avatar,but people seemed not interested to message and get to know me...again , I posted a decent pic, I did received messages but some are indecent messages. We can't control people, every individual have different attitudes and approach....so reading a profile doesn't necessarily prove to give anyone a good result in knowing somebody. It is your sincerity and pure intention towards anyone who is of interest to you that matters the most. |

I'll be pretty honest
Going to a person's profile that mostly says NO ANSWER @ ASK ME is a big turn off I normally look and move on Their picture doesn't mean a thing to me |

Example when I get an email that says Hi I want to know you. The first thing that goes through my mind. What do you want to know.. Also if "real men" don't take the time to read my profile, and send me the generic email they look like an idiot. Since it is on my profile why I am out here and that I am in a relationship... |

--------------------------- NO, of course not. 
Believe me, after years of this, the majority do NOT. And no matter what you put on your profile or don't put on it... you will still get messages from around the world, from men 18- 80 saying, " Why are you you here?" & " What are you looking for ?" Just post & block at will. Okay... we can all go home now.

The only time I ever read profiles is when I have an overpowering desire to read meaningless cliches. Sometimes, I'm on the edge of my seat finding out whether she is merely family oriented or insistent that her kids come first...

OK first thing I did upon seeing this was go there. You have some nice interests, especially the camping and traveling, but even if I drove instead of flying to my place in Alaska you are way on the other side of Canada....yes the real people on here do read profiles

Women share the same ignorance as i specify HWP several times in my narrative but still get large numbers of obese women wanting to get acquainted so i would say its a human deficiency not to peruse and just have a wishful if not naive belief that they are the exception regardless of girth.,. I'm new to this site and already have had many responses to my profile so I know they didn't read it. I'm also quite surprised to find that women get scammers too. I guess I'm learning the first clue is if the first thing someone messages you in their number to "text" right away and the numbers are "text only" numbers no live calling. Soon I will learn the rope and maybe find someone real I'm not a quitter lol
