No bad past, just empirical data, simply observation. Rare is by nature not common.

It seems similar to the phrase; a good steak is hard to find. So it is indicated that only good steaks are rare.
If most people are honest, would an honest person be hard to find? However a 55+ woman without an agenda is rare indeed. |

 Some people just cannot handle honesty. They do not truely look at themselves. I am a simple woman, but complicated due to somethings I have been working on for the last 17 yrs...and in my almost 75 yrs have had 2 wonderful husbands.....it gets lonely outliving your loved one. I frankly do not know how to meet men or women - my life always revolved around my husbands. So what does an OLD gal to meet a gentleman friend...bars & churches - forget those.
I tried both and felt very awkward. |

I does seem like a lot of people are uncomfortable with honesty as well as hard to meet. Over the years I have learned I can't really live without honesty (condolences for your losses). Hmmmm, a 17 year preoccupation? Is it related to wave-particle behavior and a magnetic field by any chance? Thanks for the reply, it truly is a rainbow journey.
