If you could give any two items to any group of immigrants in the world, what would you give?

If you could give any two items to any group of immigrants in the world, what would you give? Kind of a loaded question. Legal immigrants I would give the hand of welcome and aid. Illegal I would have to extend the upraised palm of "STOP", go back and try doing it right. I am an immigrant (legal). I have been aided and helped by others. Since I have lived here for 7 year and have obtained permanent residency I extend the hand of welcome and aid to those who are newer. Does that answer the question?

Urm, this topic was more about worldwide refugees, displaced peoples on the globe. Sorry for any misunderstanding. I am pleased things have worked out well for you.

If they came from Syria or Iraq I would do all I could to help. If they were bums just looking for an easy life I leave them to drown in the Mediterranean. A bit harsh but I get sick of scroungers.

my dad served in ww2. i was in the army 6 years. for me if an immigrant comes to MY country legally AND tryes to learn what we call English. they get 50 points of respect from me. then if they support them selves and dont free load they get an other 50 points of respect from me. and i welcome them as an American.

Fom your post I surmise respect is the non material help you would 'give'. 100 points of respect would help them,or you, or both?
