The wedding I want is something simple and quick. I don't care for a special dress, flowers, music, pressies, church or all the traditional fuss that comes with a wedding. Yes, love a plain gold wedding ring and maybe a rock next to it and no fancy reception.

I will use the time, energy, money and fuss in maintaining the relationship and marriage for as long as my partner and I can make it. It is nice to say, I want to be happy, to be in love and married forever. There’s no knowing that and I am being real. I can only give it my best.

When I was younger it would have been a different story and my idea for my special day is a costly thought, and no guarantees for a lasting marriage.

What would you prefer, a tradition wedding with all the trimming or a cheapo one like mine haha

At my age, I would want something in between. My first wedding was big & elaborate. I loved it. I would want my 2nd one to be a smaller version of the 1st one. My cousin got married in Vegas but it was an awesome wedding & a great time. I wouldnt settle for a cheap drive-threw ceremony.

cheapo like yours if at all! Been pludered in divorce court for being naive, in love, faithful,and all in....not going to change any of that, but not so sure I'll marry again just to live under a tree when it's cold out. Hey kids, Dad's coming for a visit...what do you want me to bring?

Had the big princess wedding first time around. White dress, temple ceremony, my Dad there to walk me down the aisle, dancing in fountains (yes, really). The marriage did not work out. Oops.

Don't know if I will do it again, much less how I would do it if I did it.

MicheleNC - you mentioned temple, is that the Mormon Temple? There's more invested in that if it is. ...sealed forever. They excommunicate me, I am too stubborn and sinful for their liking. But, it's all good, I took what I need to learn with me and put it in a big basket that makes me who i am today - a bit of everything.

Wow.........If I could do it all over again I would still do the dress......place........beach but no shoes dammit.......I was putting holes in the white paper aisle!!!!! I was laughing going down the aisle......but helllllllllll I would get married there again and I would stay in the same place!!!! How creeepy is that????? Just give me a new guy please!!!!

Im still pissed that the woman who made my dress didnt make it exactly how I wanted it.........she did it for cheap but it wasnt what I wanted........she made the bottom part to flouncy????? I wanted it skin tight......
