Topic: Women always get the last word... | |
---|---|
When there is a discussion between a couple how often does your companion get the last word?
|
|
|
|
All the time. I like him to believe that he has the power and he's in control.

According to a publication in 2013 on average women use 13,000 more words a day than men. Statstically that means more often than not they will have the last word in a coversation. :-)

Usually when a woman say's 'whatever' that's my cue to keep my gob shut

To me it doesn't matter who gets the last word as long as the discussione is done & we're both in each others arms lovey dovey

When I had a mate, it depended on the subject matter. In her areas of expertise, she did. In my areas of expertise, I did.
Of course, the phrase "last word" is a loaded one. And another word of caution to those who think they have the last word: Just because you stop listening, doesn't mean they stopped talking. |

Depends on what the topic is.
Yes he sometimes does Sometimes it pays to but on my listening face and think of other stuff when he is talking for the sake of it. If it's important to to him then he can talk all he likes. I will listen Myself I can be talkative so he will have to save some of his words for me. Lol |

The only way that the man gets the last words is if they are "Yes, Dear."

Its the way of the world.....
Mess with at your own peril..... Whatever or never mind....are words to strike frustration into every man.... |

When there is a discussion between a couple how often does your companion get the last word? She gets the last word when she is right. When I am, I do.... nobody is right all the time. |
|
|
|
When I say "I am done"
Doesn't matter who is right or who is wrong For that matter anything else on the topic. I am done discussing it because we are just going round and round.. Pancho is pretty much the same way.. He has other words to let me know that he is done... |

I think this is determined in the dating phase of a relationship. "You hang up." "No you hang up." "No, you hang up." "I'll hang up after you hang up." "Let's hang up together." "Okay. 1...2...3..." "You didn't hang up." "Well you didn't hang up either." "I'm going to hang up now." "Okay." "You hang up first." "No you hang up." "Bye." "Bye." "No, really. Bye." "Bye." "Bye" click. "buh...dammit!" |

I don't care. I say what I want to say and I don't like to argue. So to get in the last word is irrelevant to me.

.... nobody is right all the time.
That will come as a surprise to some people. |

Pancho is pretty much the same way.. He has other words to let me know that he is done... he used to tell the kids " your mother always has to be right" which was not entirely accurate..it's not that I was right all the time just that most of time..he was wrong |
