When I say "I am done" Doesn't matter who is right or who is wrong For that matter anything else on the topic. I am done discussing it because we are just going round and round.. Pancho is pretty much the same way.. He has other words to let me know that he is done... Since most of our conversations end with both of us saying "I love you", Matters not who says it last. We're both right. |

My way of getting the last word, which btw sent my ex through the roof, was to say "I couldn't care less" or maybe it was the sarcastic tone she didn't appreciate. Either way, she was so mad she couldn't talk.
Since then, I've learned, even if you don't really care about the subject, if you care about the person, take an interest. Who gets the last word...unimportant...true love is not a contest. |

..because whatever a man says after is just going to be the beginning of a new argument. :D And what exactly do you mean by that? It's what I usually hear from women friends. If the S.O. doesn't acquiesce and let her have the last word, then whatever he says next will fire her temper some more or something to that effect. Thus, starting the fight all over again. Personally, I just kiss my husband and that'll be the end of things. Haha. |

Well, in my experience women don't always get the last word, that's just a ailly stereotype.
Also, no one wins an argument in a relationship, you either both finally agree or the argument isn't over, which leads to unresolved issues and trouble. |

Of course. In a relationship, it's not a you and me thing anymore.

Usually when a woman say's 'whatever' that's my cue to keep my gob shut ^^^ he is house trained... I've never needed training, I was just brought up to respect people, simple really. Besides, if I'm a good dog they sometimes throw me a bone |

I so agree with this, when I finally say "I am done" is to the point it doesn't matter we aren't going to agree and the subject matter isn't important enough to continue going around the mulberry bush. I am also a great believer in the word "Compromise" when two people are ready to do that then doesn't matter who has the last word. |
