Because dogs like poop.
Actually the old Indian name for dog translates to "poop-eater". He/she can be broken of the habit, but it will take some work on your part. Don't punish her for it. That will only lead to her doing it on the sly. Instead find something more interesting for her to do. |

He is drawn by the smell.
The sniff of opposing scent, meant to be buried or covered. You can move the litter anywhere. I have mine in a glass-covered, 2-story, solarium in the yard, with a cat door for access. |

does my dog keep digging up the cat litter tray and can I move it? cause dogs can smell the Vitamins that where left behind that the cat didnt proses its something that is in them from the wild find food where you can find it cause you never know where your next food source will be it can be trained out of them just takes time can you move it ? well are you cats smart enough to find where you move it too ? : ) all depending on the size of your dog you can make or buy a box to put the little box in so the dog can not get to it or you can set it on a counter or shelf where the cats can get to it best bet really is to train your dog not to |

Dogs do love it...yuck.
A covered litter box with a flap at the entrance might work. Good luck! |
