My mother always tells me that I don't like anyone. Lol
I call it being highly selective. I am a shy person socially and I don't bond with too many people and that includes romantically. The way that I can tell that I am in love is that instead of feeling the usual dread at the prospect of being married to a man, I actually get excited. I've felt this way very rarely. How do you know that you're in love? |

When u r in love u start doing silly things, u keep on checking ur mobile for any texts or calls. U laugh, u smile when u think about your partner. U can feel their presence even though they are not here with you. The eagerness to meet them or to hear their voice increases day by day. Perhaps these are the symptoms of love according to me.

I know when I'm in love when I totally enjoy being with the person.
We could be any where doing anything as long as we are together. He's the first thing I think of in the mourning and the last thing I think of at night. |

When she offers to pay for dinner. I know, I'm just a romantic fool when it comes to love. |

I wish there were advance warning signs.
Usually, I don't realise that I'm in love, (yuck!) until it's too late to bolt. |

When you ignore her bad breath and kiss her first thing in the morning...

I wish there were advance warning signs. Usually, I don't realise that I'm in love, (yuck!) until it's too late to bolt. That has happend to me too. Sometimes being in love can turn a perfectly sane alpha male into an emotional wreck. I wouldn't want to be in love ever again...unless i truly feel she's the one, from my heart, body, mind & soul . |

Been so long I've forgotten.

If I have to ask myself....then I'm not.
Not asking now. I just know. |

H IMO This is a very good description |

i'd rather "love and be loved" than be "in love"... i dunno, am i the only one who sees a difference? i don't like having butterflies in my stomach... I understand the difference, what I don't understand is how you CAN love someone WITHOUT those butterflies showing up at least sometimes. The 23 years I spent with my Hubby, I had those butterflies off and on. It was the things He did and said that produced them. I fell in love with Him (with butterflies present) and progressed to love Him. Those butterflies would show up simply out of the blue because He was still in love with me as well and MADE me feel loved. ...BRING ON THE BUTTERFLIES!!! |

I think that are many answers and they all will be right for each person.
Me I just know... The same as I know I need air to breath I just know... i'd rather "love and be loved" than be "in love".
There are many types of Love... I know I that I love I am loved and I am in love... |
