sounds like he wants all of your attention.... Can he do things by himself like read a book or watch a video?

How about boring him to death.....turn off the tv, radio, maybe too much stimulation around him?

oh , I know he wants ALLL of my attention , I am not even allowed to go to the bathroom , jeezuz , his father pretty much imprisoned me and cut off all my friends and family , wouldnt even let me go to the store alone EVER he escorted me EVERY where I went except work ... probebly because he knew people would see right through him ...but its almost obsessive and I really would like to ease him out of this obsessiveness , school will change this it is soon , but for me its like whoa ..I love him to bits and maybe gave him to much attention now it is a pattern , I dont know ..I keep sayin I dont know too ..ok ..shut down ........he does play and watch movies and we do alot of stuff together through out the day , but he wont go to the bathroom alone or go to far from me ..wont let me go to far from him jeez ,,vent vent bla bla ..dep breath ..go to bed..shut him down .. tommorrows antother day ....I NEED some ME time...but cant think of anything to do ..know what boots I could wear ..but ..sigh..night :(

purple, have you read any parenting books? My son never did that so I cant really relate.....he went to bed when I told him because that was the way it was......

but i had friends like that, and the only thing I can see is that they let their kids run their lives. Take a stand and show the kid who is boss@@@!!!
