I never actually knew that I was going on a date. The men were sneaky about it.
 . Not that I mind. It was only ever further into the night that I suddenly realized, that he wasn't dressed up for nothing. Hmmmm. Yes. "You can come again. Especially in that white shirt".  . Even though it made you look slightly like Simon Cowell. .

When meeting thru OLD, a lazy date is trying to Skype...come on, you can't get dressed & out of your house to have the first meet at Starbucks on a Sat/Sun at 3:00 in the afternoon? That's lazy.
After 2 or 3 actual in person dates, if they devolve into hanging out at home & watching movies/tv...no, just no. Courtship means actually trying to impress each other with appearance/fun shared activities, & the 3rd date or so is way too early to get "comfortable" (not to mention the woman is going to wonder if this is a gambit to get her closer to your bedroom). The 3rd lazy date type I can think of is the falling into a routine too quickly...always a movie/dinner on Saturday? Each person has to try to make things interesting for the other person...why else would you be dating as opposed to going out w/your same sex friends & having dinner & a movie w/them? |

IMO it depends on where at in the relationship you are, lazy dates are great, walk on thr beach, picnic in the park, stroll through downtown, movie at your place.....but only AFTER you know you like them enough to be content in those situations. As first date, early dates nope, I wouldn't I'd want something to keep us occupied just uncase we didn't click Absolutely I thought we were talking about an established relationship... First date hell no... I want to be somewhere public and I can leave if need be... OH Yeah MEL.... SPOONING ALL DAY IN BED Hell spooning on the deep sofa can be almost as much fun... Gawd July has to hurry up and get here... |

IMO it depends on where at in the relationship you are, lazy dates are great, walk on thr beach, picnic in the park, stroll through downtown, movie at your place.....but only AFTER you know you like them enough to be content in those situations. As first date, early dates nope, I wouldn't I'd want something to keep us occupied just uncase we didn't click I like them both. Going out. new places or a nice restaurant, weekend get a ways.. I also like the lazy days of just both laying on the couch watching a good movie... you need a balance of both I agree with these two...gotta know when the right time is for a real date vs a hang-out date... |

I don't think first dates apply to this. |
