I've learned that I truly am like everyone else.
Yes, I thought I was unique since my life was mostly even-keeled until about 15 years ago. Then, all of the "stuff" i've heard about from others seemed to creep into my life. The loss of peeps I love, the trials of raising 2 children AND a husband who never wanted to grow up  , etc.......the mere existence of life in my life. 
...it is difficult to explain what I mean....

Is (tv) “series” Plural or Singular? "Series" can be singular or plural depending on context. Both of your sentences are therefore correct but different.
I like to watch TV series. uses series as a plural and means you like to watch a number of different TV shows. I like to watch a TV series. uses series as singular and means you like to watch one TV show. |

To be perfectly honest ... I only found out a few months ago myself 
BUT ... I only have 9789 postings, so I still beat ya to it, lol. Okay, been a member a tad longer, but we're not getting fussy here now, are we
