Why do some people feel the need to post half naked pictures of themselves as their profile pictures?
If you are trying to satisfy your ego by getting a lot of responses from women or men who only care what you look like, then you'll be successful. The guys who do that are the giving off the same tasteless, patheticness that girls who post super slutty pics are. It says something about you and the attention you're after. It's the same thing if I see a woman with full on cleavage in a head shot. Your picture reflects the type of person you're after. Do you want a partner who is wowed by a shirtless pic or slutty pic? Some people like that. Or do you want a person who is attracted by deeper, more brain- or heart-oriented things? |

I've always posted my 1/2 naked, 3/4 naked, and the "I'm wearing nothing but a funyun' pics in the open forums.

I suppose it depends on just how slutty or revealing the picture is.Many profiles state that 'looks are not important'.Maybe they are not 'most' important if looking for LTR,but most would admit to needing some physical attraction.She could have the best body i have ever seen,avatars,pictures of scenery,but if i can't see her face clearly,i am not interested...

 We all have choices, if you don't like it don't look....there is always the option of using the delete or block button too.

I certainly would not think either you or fly boy were sluts if you decided to show more skin . :  labels are subjective and harmful as is enforcing self ideals of attraction on others
