Everybody has something they're not real confident about.
For me; it's these pants. I'm not real sure if these pants make my butt look big or if I just have a big butt. |

Do you agree with the statement ; Everybody insecure about s
I'm going to assume the statement is "everybody is insecure about something," rather than "everybody is insecure about sex," or, "strawberries," or, "s&m," or, "silly buggers." Then I would say I agree. Except for sociopaths, maybe. I'm a little insecure about saying "everybody." Because that includes people in comas and suffering brain damage. I don't think they're insecure. Unless you mean the other definition of the term where they lack physical security. People in comas and those with brain damage may have difficulty securing themselves. I am insecure with making that an absolute statement so I had to use "may." |

I have days when I feel insecure mainly about how someone might judge my past. But then I remember that I don't give a rat's azz what anyone thinks of me and I'm ok again.

oh there are times when I feel a little shakey for a minute or two
usually when I am juggling too many things at once getting burned out and fed up usually my signal to take a deep breath or two or 38 go thru that list in my head..of why I do what I do of why I made the decisions I made that got me exactly where I am today then I square my shoulders, put that armor back on and go out and tackle the world |

Amusingly enough, part of my own life has included discovering that I actually was NOT insecure about what I used to think I was, and that I am insecure about about other things.
Perhaps a better thing to look at, is what it is that most upsets you, when someone else fails to recognize it about you. |

I hardly ever notice or think about it. There are more important things in my life than asking myself if such or such thing about myself discomforts me. I guess, with age, I've learned to appreciate the good in myself and work on the rest.

Yes, can be insecure, used to be very very insecure, so I'm glad I managed to work on it and feel lots better about myself.
But I sometimes have a real bad hair day when it comes to feeling confident. Having been bullied at school as a child, for some 8 years on end, I can feel insecure in group settings on a 'bad hair' day. Being bullied leaves its mark. It truly is my Achilles heel: Oddly enough group things can be my strength, I mean, I do get on stage to present a gig, sing etc. and entertain the audience as an MC, and I daresay I'm bloody good at it! (The presenting mostly) ... But on a bad day, it's my greatest weakness ... |

Thankfully, Nature has a way of taking care of mimes. |

I've been betrayed, and that still really hurts, when it does. A man I once dated a man quite older than me. He was telling me, constantly, how he'd "look after me". He would hug me a lot. He was sweet, from what others could see of him. I thought he was last man I'd ever be with. Well, he suddenly cut me off from his life. He stopped talking to me. He started being very selfish, cocky, grumpy. He has always had a very selfish side to him. Now I think I know why his ex left him. He sometimes lacked consideration for others. It left a bit of a mental scar. I only remember the bad things about him. Anyway, we don't speak to each other anymore. He's gone.

when you look back on a past relationship
ask yourself what qualities drew you to that person in first place cannot all be bad ones then ask yourself were these qualities real or only perceived to be real by me in other words...were you seeing something that you wanted to see that maybe was not really there? or was it more like a used car salesman snow job sweet, caring, considerate, attentive in beginning and then whamo...takes it all away once he knows he's got you? that is a bait and switch man |
