Not funny......! This is an insult to women who never got a penny from the divorce, and who worked their way up through sheer hard work. 
And women who are left to fend for themselves by their irresponsible partners/ spouses (I think Estelle will agree with me.....100%)

The old saying is so true that "Behind every successful man is a good woman". To which Groucho Marks liked to add "and behind her was his wife" LOL. But all kidding aside, why is it true for successful men but not true that good men are behind a successful woman. What do you men say for yourselves and where do you women find motivation, determination and the dedication it takes to be successful I would say her kids give her the motivation and determination to be successful... But actually it is the determination to be better and to be able to show the world they can do it... And many times it is the man behind her telling her she can in fact do it.. So it is a combination of many things that pushes a woman to be successful... |

real answer
grew up with my mom trying to raise my brothers and I in the 1970's as a single mom going back to get her degree with three kids in tow this was after finding out my dad was having an affair.. they had been boyfriend/girlfriend since junior high, married right out of high school. she was from a small town and really only thing she wanted was the white picket fence and home and family.. she became a very strong and competent role model I walked down aisle at 23 and was a stay at home mom with my kids took care of house and home for 20 years what I do now I do not do as some kind of throw it in your face thing to spite my ex husband what I do now I do for me |
