Topic: WATCH: Mom slaps son for rioting | |
---|---|
How is reacting in violence and destroying the community where innocent people live, standing up for what is right? How is looting from innocent people standing up? It's a bunch of violent, criminal thugs using an injustice to validate their riot Those certain people DID make a change peacefully. Please answer what I asked. How does looting from innocent people fix the problem? How does destroying a community where innocent families live do anything? The riot was nothing more than an excuse to loot and destroy and put people in harms way. What about the cops that had nothing to do with the case? Violence is no substitute for anger. It only brings more violence. Learn physics 101! For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Robbing, looting, thuggery, will not get the response you might desire, but yes, it will get a response. Usually it's a criminal record, the despise of anyone harmed or violated by those actions, and more laws or police response to incite the situation even further. And people doing these deeds wonder why there is police violence against them. Go figure! |

Racism is wrong but I will be damned if I get lumped in with racists because I am white |

In addition to that strong willed mom, there was another man on Baltimore's streets last night....
"" "" While covering the riots in Baltimore, CNN's Joe Johns caught up with a man securing his neighborhood from agitators. The man, a Vietnam War vet, said the young rioters need to "have their butts home" and be "studying." The man, identified as Robert Valentine, is black but said he does not consider himself "black, white, red, yellow, or nothing," but an American. "I did 30 years, okay, came out a Master Sergeant," Valentine told CNN's Joe Johns. "I've seen more than all this. I've been through the riots already. This right here is not relevant. They need to have their butts at home. They need to be in their home units with their families studying and doing something with their life. Not out here protesting about something that is not really about nothing." "They do not respect this young man's death. You know. Now, mama and daddy lost a child. That could be them. So I'm very pissed," Valentine also said. "I love my country," Valentine said. "I love my Charm City. I'm an American. I'm not black, white, red, yellow or nothing. I am American."" http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sN1qSRgKoU0&itct=CDUQpDAYAiITCOeV4J6RmsUCFRC3fgodsEQA1VIQcm9iZXJ0IHZhbGVudGluZQ%3D%3D&hl=en&gl=US&client=mv-google |

Of course numbers will be higher in predominately black neighborhoods or cities, but the black on black crime rates are the highest numbers in the crime statistic as well. Your thinking is flawed when you use facts |

Explain why this thug's mom was out there trying to calm the protest then went off on her son for rioting. She disagrees with you. So do many people there

And my brother had to quit a high paying job in Chicago because he was beaten and robbed 3 times in 6 months..... by young black men So what is your point? |

So do many people there She was trying to stop the riot BEFORE she knew her kid was there! Other's were trying to stop it! Did that video look like she was worried about getting him home safe? BS! She was kicking his butt back home for being a thug! |

She didn't want her kid to be a thug! Good grief!
I side with the mom that was there versus someone not even in this country. Someone posted another article where a vet said they need to get their butts home. Would you want to raise your kids there with riots? I bet many who are actually don't either |

It is utterly ridiculous to defend a young man who wasn't protesting, but instead was aiming to participate in criminal activity.

Your thinking is flawed when you use facts There have been many protests of late that were non-violent and got the beginnings they desired. This is senseless rioting burning their own peoples homes, businesses and property. Simple senseless thuggery! There is no message here but "Don't give us a reason/excuse!" |

There would be peaceful and effective ways to handle things instead of riots |
