now on a first date, what are good topics of conversation where is the best place to go for a first date?
|
|
|

for me, best bet is somewhere neutral, for a more relaxed atmosphere and conversational tone...
of course it would depend on how well you know the person you're on a date with |

first date in....

If you haven't met them before the date. Wouldn't you class that as a blind date? How do you get out of it if the date is wrong? Do we be painfully honest or do we sneak out?

Oh.. if its a meet and greet then..
a public coffee house... ... this way I can see how they intermingle with.. other people in public.... I can get a sense of their table manners.... yes .. table manners is important..lol..... I generally go in thinking of it.. more of a informal business lunch.... no heavy conversation.... did you have trouble finding the place... I like what you're wearing you look very lovely... .... how long have you been single.. .... roughly what are you looking for. .... I let them know I'm just looking for one person not multiple people.... . but at the same time I'm not interested in a full time everyday relationship..... I'm enjoying being single.... not interested in multiple partners..... reinforcing..that point.. .... then I steer the conversation towards... their life in the city.. . how active they are.. do they go to a lot of festivals. so on and so forth.. I generally plan to spend an hour.. . chit chatting.. with a plan if we hit it off.. we go get a drink somewhere.. . |

Geocaching.

Not sure if I'm just getting old or I'm old fashioned but an ideal first date for me would be dinner for two at some swanky restaurant, but where they serve proper food, in other words you don't come out hungrier than when you went in.
That's if it suits the Lady in question too of course. Otherwise bungee jumping |

what if you meet them and its like electric lol
Bring enough rubbers so we don't get shock. |

have a friend to sus him out because you could be seeing him with rose colored glasses. I get family and friends to check. Run him through some questions. The electric shock can also be painful. Check him out on Facebook, Google his name and see what comes up. Maybe police check. Better to be safe than sorry. Girl cover all bases.
Check for medical, make sure he is not using you. If you haven't met them before the date. Wouldn't you class that as a blind date? How do you get out of it if the date is wrong? Do we be painfully honest or do we sneak out? |
