Recently, the Kennedy Center had a tribute to Led Zepplin. The whole show is really worth watching. Here is a excerpt where Ann and Nancy Wilson (Heart) do stairway to Heaven. The expressions of the Zepplin boys in the box seats is a treat!

I still remember the first time I heard Zeppelin. I was 11 years old and wandering around the first mall in my area, Christmas 1969. I stepped into the flagship store of a local record store chain called "Sam Goody's" just as the bridge of Whole Lotta Love started. I thought a freakin' space ship was landing... Never heard anything like it. It was almost scary... |
