i am self employed and put in a lot of hours. so dating sites seemed to be a good way to start the dating process but most of the local prospects haven't been seen in over a month. so that seems to be a bust, but the forums are a nice way to interact with not customers and pass the time. and if something with a some distance should maybe arise well let's take it slow and see where it goes

I was looking for a free dating site back in '06 and found JustSayHI.. I was a single mom at the time and as most single parents can attest to, life doesn't always allow free time for meeting and dating when you're a parent.. since then, I've met a lot of great people, passed many a fun hour, made lifelong friends and even a new family! (((famillia)))) flowers

even though I still have a 'looking for luv' kinda profile.. when life permits.. I come back to the forums to check in with everyone AND keep the ole Pub goin drinker

It is very pleasing to see the words of each of you.

It is these types of posts that really keep my interest and why I stay.

Thank you all, both the old and the new for sharing. flowerforyou .

I joined Mingle just after my husband left, we had waited for the Xmas and
New Year stuff to be over.

I was extremely sad about it and could not concentrate on much at all.

I did not really want to meet anyone but the forums were a great way to

take my mind of my sorrows.

has been a life saver ........

I live in a remote area. Family is not in this state either so -
apart from my computer life is a lonely deal.

I am glad to see so many people who still participate here after so many years. I am also heartened by those who found a relationship but stayed to continue for the friendships they developed here.

Now a few of you claim that you stumbled upon this website and that makes me smile. And I am glad for those who waited for mingle to join them but finally relented laugh .

I look forward to seeing more posts as I push this back to the top of the heap.

Well...at the three and a half year point of a self imposed abstinence and self discovery journey...I decided to join here...just for fun and maybe a hookup if I was lucky...
I stumbled across the forums and discovered to my shock...people wanting to be my friends.....
And then I found her....
