Constructed of fear Day in day out she wonders How the hell do I escape This fear is so pointless They are people Like you and I Trained to fight To kill Hiding the fear Born of knowing they may die Seemingly callous and cold Every emotion has been switched off Only to survive To fear would be To give the enemy the power Looking deeper you might see They love laugh and cry Just like you and me They are Marines Such fear has been blinding But they too deserve thanks For keeping us free |

I agree sean. I was never a marine but i was spec ops in the army. I have served side by side with alot of marines. I have the up most respect for all of or troops. I wish that i could go back. I got hit and sent home in 2003. I feel as if I was forced to leave my brothers.
