Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and some other Global Faiths proclaim the Unity of the Creator as one of the Core tenets of their beliefs. Why then do we have so much intolerance, hatred, and misinformation between adherents of the different faiths? If we all believe there is Only One Creator, shouldn't there be a tolerance of those Who Worship Him in ways other than ours? Because all in all, God wants to be worshiped the way he said he wishes to be worshiped. It's not about the way we wish to worship God, it's about the way he wishes to be worshiped as he is God almighty. Why then do we have so much intolerance, hatred, and misinformation between adherents of the different faiths? That I couldn't tell you. As God has told us to judge not. |

But if we all agree He is ONE, isn't it acceptable to have Many routes to Him? Firstly, we must define The One. If Some erroneously assume 'The One' is a whole-bunch of other Entities and Idols, then we can't expect one truly enlightened path, can we? Many formal worships claim they are Monotheistic, but in reality they are Polytheistic, in so much as they assume other Entities or Beings are one-in-the-same as the One Unseen True God. Here-in is the problem... For when the creation is worshiped instead of the Creator, there will always be conflict. Really, it is the breaking of the very first of the Ten Commandments... Namely, "'Thou shalt not have any 'other' gods before Me,'" says Jehovah. ************************ Exodus 20: 3 *********************** |

But if we all agree He is ONE, isn't it acceptable to have Many routes to Him? For a Christian that would be no. Christ very plainly said, "I am the way and the truth and the light. No man comes to the Father except through Me." Then in the first chapter of John it says, "In the beginning was the Word and Word was with God and the Word was God and became flesh and dwelt among us." This is what I know to be Christ. What I don't get is anti-semitism amongst some "christian". Christ is a Jew. How can you profess to love Christ and hate Jews? Too many profess one thing and practice another. I think it was Billy Graham who said, "we should preach the Gospel at all times and sometimes use words." If I am not recognised as a Christian without opening my big mouth then I am missing the mark. "They should know us by our love." |

Christ very plainly said, "I am the way and the truth and the light. No man comes to the Father except through Me." (Relative To The Era And The People Whom He Was Addressing At The Time) Then the Apostle John in the first chapter of John says, "In the beginning was the Word and Word was with God and the Word was God's and became flesh and dwelt among us." This is what I know to be Christ. Don't mind me Bibarnes, I just had to correct something. |

The oneness of God in the New Testament:

John 17:11New International Version (NIV) 11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of[a] your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. Footnotes: a. John 17:11 Or Father, keep them faithful to Luke 18:19 New International Version (NIV) 19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.
