Well I guess a few of us are strong enough to admit it.

Everyone who knows me knows I'm a huge comic book fan.

But the funny thing is, when someone finds out I'm a comic book fan, the first thing out of their mouths is, "Boy, that Star Trek is one great show, huh?".

HUH?

Excuse me, but what does one have to do with the other?

Sure, I've seen a few episodes of the original--maybe four at most. But, other than the fact that there's been Star Trek comic books(which I never read), what does one(comics) have to do with the other(Star Trek)?

Before the hate posts pour in, from the episodes I've seen, Trek is a pretty good show. Maybe I'll borrow the DVDs from someone and watch.
