Hello Jack flowerforyou
Stay positive always smile2 it will attract more good things for you. Worrying much can do you more harm (to your health) than good. But dont forget to be always thankful for the blessings. drinker

I agree, about the economy but is it ever truly safe to trust it, but it is my main worry. The drive is killing me and during the summer I take on another job and after the long hours the ride home is pure hell, I have found myself falling asleep at times and not to mention the extra money for gas.

This rationalization for acquiring a house closer to the beach is
coming along fine hahaha

Life is precious, it goes fast, it sounds like you have earned the
right to make these choices :-)

Specially if you can get a good deal :-)

Actually, when I thought about this more, I don't worry, I just expect it, because I'm used to it. Been very ill since birth.

So when I get a day the sickness and pain is a little better, I don't worry it's going to get bad again, I just expect it because I know it will, from years of experience.

I just look forward to the better days and enjoy them.

Yes its a buyers market for sure and the homes in South Carolina are not as expensive as the other states I have lived in. The money saved from the expenses due to the long drive would cover the inital extra costs but I am still worrying about getting struck by the lighting because things are going good now.Its like I almost feel guilty.

I agree, and I am a same way.
Frankly I don't get the question. So you thinking things are going well you worry something bad about to happen?

Congratulations.....Jack! drinker drinker drinker
Living closer to work and getting houses when it is the buyers market is the way to go. And getting to choose to live where you like is so so ideal. You deserve it after all the hard work.....pat yourself on the back!

When things are going "good" for me, it usually means I'm very busy. When I'm busy, I usually don't have time to worry about much outside the business, so I have to say no, I don't worry when life is good. There are things to expect, look forward to, and some things which concern me (like getting the job done), but at those times in my life I don't worry too much about the future because the present is taking up so much of my time.

I got a promotion at work, just bought a new truck, and I am looking to buy a house closer to the ocean. Do you worry the bottom will fall out when things are going good or do you just go with it?
Lol I thought you're supposed to worry when it's going bad  ,but I think you meant like, when things seem to good to be true maybe?I try not to get to emotional about the good or the bad, cause I've found out,at least for me)once you're emotional about one, you'll also be with the other!!
