part native, the only thing I know is all the family says she was from West Virginia, they only referred to my great granddad as THAT SQUAW MAN, now I know that term is politically incorrect by todays standards, but was acceptable at the time.

before I getjumped for what I said, that is the way the older generations talked, never heard her name or her tribe, he was the blacksheep in the family never used his name either. don't think anything like that would happen today, the more modern generation is more tolerent. I know I have never liked racial comments or putdowns still I also know they do occur.
