The things you mentioned are what a Barbie doll would go for, not real women needs (and it is a little offensive the way women have been portrayed to be so shallow on TV). I think you don't understand that women still need a man for security in 2015. Still, if you look at the list there will need to be sacrifices made by women that shouldn't need to be made, just make sure of the things you won't put up with under any conditions, such as violence.

ha, you have no clue what other women will and have put up with in abusive situations.

Both genders have been portrayed as shallow, idiotic, and overall D'UH... Yet, both have also been portrayed as strong, compassionate, loyal. Why do you keep zeroing in on just one side of the coin?

So what if it's 2015? So what if women need men? So what if men might need women too? People need people.

Both genders make sacrifices, both genders make choices either to do or not. Both need to live with those choices made.

Not every consequence or effect, good or bad, can be seen on the short term. Some effects take longer than others.

No one really condones violence anyways. Which is why I don't see the reason we need to fight over the menfolk. laugh much less in the mud ((((1j9))))

I get that what you're saying is that women are usually on the losing end of the stick. Not always but usually, and to have it happen personally, makes one feel that it happens all the time without exception. I get that. We just have to deal with it. It's hard, but that's what we do, and it's always best to do it with integrity, dignity and self respect, because that is the only way anyone can move on and not let the past cage us from finding peace, in spite of whatever else that may be happening on the outside...

Sometimes, the most important questions we have, cannot be ultimately answered by someone else.

By the way, if you WOULD put up with violence that is your thing, it was a suggestion, that's why I said such as, it means for example.

Well it's just that when we go muddin' around here we'd never lick the mud off the truck. On the other hand you can't go wrong with pudding.

I believe you are in the middle east section of the graph there, Estelle. Count yourself lucky.

Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others.

Tho, I think there are a couple of them on here wouldn't mind having ladies mud wrestle over them...

All females should feel free to mud wrestle at any time for any reason. You don't have to mud wrestle for ME/US.

Once again... This is not true. If you had said 'some women' I would not have said a word.

All women do not need men for security. Nor do all women need to make the sacrifices you suggest.

At the age of 30, I became a single parent to my then 5 year old daughter. I was our security. I was the provider, the sole provider. I received no child support, no government assistance, no family support. We always had a decent home, clothing, medical care and plenty of healthy food.

Were there times when I wanted help? Absolutely! However, I hadn't the time or energy to spare for complaining about such things. I chose to use my time, my energy, my passion to do what was necessary to provide for my child and myself.

You're very persistent Estelle. Perhaps you could try channeling all that energy into something productive and positive, instead if wasting your precious time on posts that accomplish nothing?

This statement happens to be a fact ...

No, Estelle, your OP expresses an opinion, just like the fox expressing the opinion that the grapes he wanted but couldn't get were sour anyway.

Estelle, you have loaded up on opinions and called them facts. Even if you had stated that they were opinions, I would still disagree, but I wouldn't call you out for stating as fact what is clearly opinion. As a man, your negativity toward men has made you someone I would avoid having a relationship with at all costs. Because of things you have said, I have no reason to believe that I could ever meet your unreasonable expectations, despite being a generally good person who would treat you right and take care of you. But you are now the one who is not worth my emotional investment. Therefore, I will find a lady who will appreciate what I have to offer instead of making me believe I am somehow inferior because perfection in another human being doesn't exist.

Ok everyone let's have some respect for each other...have some sense of humor...not be afraid to speak your mind...allow others to speak theirs..you know?

WORD!
[*in this case, the OP made a remark regarding a shortage of men who adhered to specific criteria, ect...] She never implied that this observation was a recorded fact derived from academic research. All of the sudden, other idiots are writing her as to her "bitter" attitude, need for therapy, ect..WTF?!
Live & let live; everyone has his/her own opinions & perspectives. Who, here, has the right to judge what anyone else expresses as to the nature of their own personal[subjective] experience? After reading thru some of the feedback from the original post;can't tell if what I'm reacting to here is troll-ism or just plain ignorance? All I know is that I have a short fuse for superficial ******** from sanctimonious az*holes[male or in this case-mostly female].Grow-up.sad2

There's a difference between "Talking/Discussing[ in the objective]" & "Judging"[i.e."very negative"]" all the OP's posts So you agree with "Everyone"[THEM]? Sad to add is the fact that you would even write that, illustrates the objection[s] that I had in reading this thread.
