I don't think it has anything to do with ranking ... This is an American forum / site with mostly Americans. Americans usually aren't looking for someone outside of America. So logic dictates that if you are in America you get more matches as more ppl will see you in the match thing.
There are quite some UK ppl on here too, so the same will likely go for them.
Not entirely sure how the algo-rhythm of the gadget works, but I doubt it's anything to do with ranking or popularity.

there isn't many uk folk crystal. everyone ive asked from the uk says the same.

also many are just studying in the uk.

I would say this makes a lot of sense...of course it doesn't explain why my numbers have gone on a steady decline...over ..the ..past..couple weeks since I ....uh...joined the forums..
