I'm thinking about how we end up where we're meant to be. I went to get my nails done and my regular place was closed.
so I went to a different place a few blocks away.
there were 3 asian ladies. they are talking to each other while working on my nails.
this gentleman (I think he's a local business owner) walks in and the lady doing my manicure is suddenly paying extra attention to my nails.

I thought my this is interesting.

so they exchange conversation. he's been trying to talk to her for 3 weeks. she gave him her number. they chatted a bit and he left.

then she tells me, a complete stranger, her story and why she has a hard time trusting men.

I told her don't be like me. I lost a lot of time being afraid of men.

don't judge all men by what happened in the past. there are good people in the world.

we talked a bit and she said maybe she needed to hear what I said today.

she apologized for sharing her troubles. I told her no problem because maybe our paths were meant to cross. maybe there was a reason I happened to be their final client of the day.
