Lately, within the last two weeks, when I get on any topic, I am automatically being redirect to an advertiser's page, usually Lyft Inc or some new game advertisement without clicking on anything. Any ideas what may be going on? Thanks for any help!

We don't have any ads that are so invasive, dcastelmissy. If you're positive that you are not clicking on accident, then you may want to scan your machine. Good luck.

Charles what do you mean by scanning my machine ?? It's my iPhone. I can't scan it! |

I'm not familiar with iPhones, unfortunately, but you can probably find more information about the subject by doing a web search.

Charles it's not the phone. I've had the phone for 8 months and it never redirected me before regardless of how many advertisers there were. This just started happening about two weeks ago. About the time the server thing was going on.

I was having the same problem. I deleted all cookies from my PC, and, so far, the problem hasn't returned.

But this isn't happening on a PC just my phone???

Been happening to my phone for some time now. I formatted it but gradually it returned but gets blocked now and deleted. Its adware/spyware doing that. It slows down everything on the phone too.

We're careful about choosing ad partners and and we'll always to look into such reports.

Can someone help answer these questions so we can look into the issue? As it's not happening to everyone, we will need to pinpoint the exact cause:
1. Is this only happening to your iPhone when you are on the mobile browser? Or Android phones too? 2. Does this happen more than one time a day? 3. Do you see a page first, with a square ad (and a continue button) on the top? -- Is this where it happens? Do you click on the square ad, or the continue buton? |
