Why are there no chat rooms on here? I think it would be nice if there were how about you?

Live chat rooms are not necessary. The discussion threads work well enough.

I wrote and ran the Bot for a chatroom for many years. Sometimes you can't get a word in edgewise. You cannot always tell who is talking to whom. Snooze there, you lose the conversation. I like the forum format so much better, time to pause, edit, get it right. There is Instant Messaging if you need the fix :-)
