A really pleasant day... it was the kind of gray day that makes you want to just stay in and hibernate...but got out for a waterfront walk and it was really nice despite the gray...then dinner and a flirty chat...what more can a girl ask for...

it was a good day.. slept until 8:30 a.m... had breakfast with the boys.
... got my house work done.. .. and then my youngest.. offered to come run errands with me.. as long as I promised to let him . go to the toy store..lol.. .. which I did ,and then we went to Walmart... and then the strangest thing happened.. well! it wasn't exactly strange.. it was more of a realization.... You see.. my youngest and I thought we would go to the new Walmart... I haven't been there since it open... and pulling up to it I noticed... they had recently built and opened a Boston Pizza... right beside the Walmart... this is a new subdivision mind you... now normally a restaurant opening up would be a good thing..... but you have to realize.. .. there is at least 12 other Boston Pizza.... on this side of town.. . now Boston Pizza is a... middle-of-the-road family restaurant... . which got me thinking why didn't somebody open a Moxies or a keg... perhaps and Earls.. more of a upper scale restaurant... and then it hit me.. .. it's probably because this end of the city is more of a working class end of the city.... so the powers that be look at my city this way.... on the working class end of the city... we will put nothing but McDonalds and Boston pizza's... A&W.. more of the fast food type of restaurant... and on the south of the city where most of the real money live's.. . we will give those people the better restaurants.... talk about .. pigeonholing.. and targeting your demographic.... elitist thinking... .. when I realized... this selective targeting.. I became very upset.. .. because this end of the town has grown quite a lot... we may not have the new million dollar houses... ... but don't we deserve, the Moxies and Earls as well..?.. the higher end restaurants... it's as though they're saying the people on this end of the town.. are just the worker bees.. .. they don't deserve the royal jelly.. Wtf... in the last 12 years.. I have watched new subdivisions spring up everywhere... in my city.... . strip malls.. first the Walmart springs up.. then the Home Depot.. . Then a bank... a movie theater.. .. its the same.. no matter which and of the city .. gets a new box store strip mall development.... the only difference is... the so-called higher income . neighborhoods.. get a Moxie... some sort of steak house ..instead of a .. Boston Pizza.. and McDonald's.. . social class profiling... economic profiling.. ... or is it a missed opportunity.. . by elitist narrow minded thinkers.. ..grrrrrrrr..... . . . . . .. |

I guess to sum it up ...it started off as a good day..
.. But ended in a, massive protest..lol... well not massive!.. just me and my youngest.. boycotting Boston Pizza. lol .... down with the man..lmao |

Lol..at least in your town they finish building the over abundant franchises...here we have a bunch of half built wanna be's...over spending before completion...oh well...

Day wasn't boring it had its problems to solve and was very wet and cold.

12 hour day at the office, came home to a peaceful house...
