I grew up listening to her songs ... those days where I want my MTV she was married to Sean Penn ... remember she did Evita ... then later changed her name to Esther before or after she married Russel Crow not sure ... I remember I heard she did not let her daughter or kids watch any TV ...not sure how true that is ... her relationships did not always turn out well with men ... can't remember the charities she gave or gives to ... Africa at one time I think... I believe she is a great business women ... she knows how to spot talent well ... and is a very good entertainer with a great voice... I like all of her music from then to now ... but 1 fav is ...Hope I live to tell ...

Okay, lets not forget Madonna put in years as a new wave pop legend, I adore her. my favorite Madonna song is "Celebrate". I was in junior high when that record came out. Remember the jersey girls with the big hair dos, funnel cakes at the jersey shore like wildwood, & new wave was the thing...lol.
