is there the option to remove someone from my search prior to any contact with them? for example; if they smoke, i'm not interested; yet that person continues to appear in my search ~ if i could remove them it would save time and aggravation

Have you tried the 'Advanced' Search?:
http://mingle2.com/search/preferences You can set preferences such as you mention above. (>>>Search>>>Advanced Search) |

I think I messed up and clicked on "maybe" instead on "no" on a mutual match. Acer's keyboard sometimes acts up!
Is there a way to correct such an error or simply forget about it and move on? |

What occurs to me is, if he also clicked 'Yes' or 'Maybe' and you did indeed click the same, when he shows up as a Mutual Match you can delete him immediately (little box with an 'x' next to his name on your MM page.) Also, he may still appear as a MM option which means you could say 'No' next time. |
