I just met someone, and I've talked to her a couple times on the phone, but every time I do i can't think of anything to say, then I just want to hang up, cause I'm making myself look like an idiot

What kinds of things would you want to ask about anyone you are getting know? I am curious about people ... I want to know who they are...what they care about...what they like to do...what they think about ... their hopes, dreams, fears ... what inspires them...

make yourself some notes...it is easy to get flustered when you are nervous. Try to relax and just be yourself.

I find people generally like a give and take conversation. I agree...ask her questions you would like to know. I think that's a great idea, this way you get to find out...if your compatible or not. I wish you luck...

haha i know how you feel but the more you get to know eachother it will get a lot easier getting over the awkwardness is pretty hard you just gotta think of stuff to say because im sure shes nervous too

She is probably having the same trouble. Why don't you just tell her how goofy you feel and nervous. She will more than likely same she feels the same and you can both laugh about it. Get rid of the tension!

If you're taking an interest in her, she won't think you're stupid. Keep calling her, eventually you'll become more comfortable and the conversation will be easier. Women find it attractive when a man is a little nervous. It means you're not a player!
