Would you ever consider dating a guy much younger than you?

Friendly date is fine. Overall, the feeling will be just brotherly for me.

I get a lot of attention from younger men and when I point it out and ask what their interest is they all say they want a mature lady with no drama, I personally think they are looking for security that comes from someone older than them. I also think their is an attraction from when they had crushes on their baby sitters who were somewhat older than them, in fact I have been told this by an older man. I am hesitant to date much younger men because I do not want to keep them from experiencing having a young love and family. I hope this helps.

Not a chance in hell would I ever date a man over 10 years younger than me. I would feel more like a babysitter if the man was much younger.

If they were not as smart as me, I only used them for physical skills.

I totally agree that age is a mindset thing... mostly.

I've met and dated much more mature ladies who act (and often look) much younger than their years. I've always considered them "my age". Similar with younger women, met a few that are way beyond their chronological age in terms of maturity, wisdom and outlook on life.

Maybe this has to do with my upbringing. My dad was 14 years older than my mom. Tbh, I never thought of their age differences. I have a younger brother who is 22 years younger than me, so our family tree has quite a few age overlaps.

I totally agree about not dating anyone as young as my daughter, basically half my age. Not only would it be awkward for her, but there is a huge cultural gap between our generations. Same with much older women I would say. It's hard to bridge that gap really, and the last thing I want is have a conversation with someone limited to current events and the weather.

Anyways, just my take on it. I usually follow the 4/5 rule, I don't ask someone who's less than 4/5ths my age or more than 5/4ths my age.

Even though, I still believe you're smarter than I am... I'm willing to call a truce so that we can stop arguing about it. We're equally smart.

Now, let's get back to using each other for those physical skills.
