I believe heterosexual men will believe heterosexual women are the most jealous, as that's who they have had the most [bad] experiences with. I believe heterosexual women will believe heterosexual men are the most jealous, as that's who they've had the most [bad] experiences with.
Likewise for gay men with other gay men and lesbians with lesbians. Like most things in life, it's all about one's point of view...which is NEVER The Definitive Answer to All Things. |

Regardless of what you're talking about, it doesn't change the response I'd written; people will believe that whoever it is THEY deal with the most, most intimately, are the ones *most* guilty of whatever the *bad* behavior/trait is. 'Tis human nature. P.S. You DID ask us what WE think, riiiiight? Or, is my browser acting up, again? |

There are also females that can get jealous of their friends when the friend is in a happy loving relationship but not them....some would go to any extent to destroy their friends relationship just coz seeing their friends happy and in love does not make them happy and advising and always influencing the friend to do things that would destroy the relationship ... Which, since by your own admission, gay relationships are made up of two of the same sex... ...it PROVES that 'jealousy' is NOT a gender-based trait, which completely destroys the argument you're trying to make. I speak from Experience I've had similar experiences: my first husband had male friends and family members who were 'jealous' of his relationship with me; my next LTR had male friends who missed his *playa* ways when going out and hitting on women once he settled down with me; my last LTR's brothers were ALL jealous of our relationship, especially when their marriages began disintegrating. MY empirical data has NOT allowed me to draw the irrefutable conclusion, "Ergo, [all] men are." Again, it's all based on one's point of view; it's best to keep it IN its perspective. |

Maybe it's that men are better at hiding their feelings than women?
I can handle some flirting, and a hint of jealousy isn't entirely wrong either. Depends on the flirting .. if it's 'just' flirting occasionally, who cares. I do that as well. But some go too far, too much, too often. Then it's A) extremely immature and B) very irritating and C) very disrespectful. |

[\quote] Same here....the family members and friends really got jealous and her friends were trying anything to kill her happiness....she was so happy with me but i dont know why it bothered everyone, seeing someone miserable makes some people happy but when that person is so happy and in love theyre bothered....her friends even went to the point of seducing me but seeing that i am so faithful and not that type of a man into such bulls**t they tried different strategies but with her instead.... However both men and women are equally jealous |

Both, though I would say women are more expressive of their feelings.... but men tend to hide their feelings and for those who can't control it, it can be 'dangerous'!
