My last relationship turned out horrible. She did not misrepresent herself.
In fact, she said right off the start, that she was crazy. I shrugged that off, and said "naaaa".
Well...she was in fact...crazy.
My point is, I saw what I wanted to see.
Not what was really there.
I think we often do just that. We see what we want to see in someone.
Then when we have to eventually see the truth, we are soooo disappointed,
and make it the other person's fault.

^^This x 100...In the beginning, we see what we want to see...When the rose colored glasses come off and reality sets in, the relationship unravels with each blaming the other....Also, I think in a new relationship, when everyone is on their best behavior, it's easy to get caught in this trap...It doesn't mean we don't know what we want and it doesn't mean what we want doesn't exist, it just means we are under the influence of infatuation....
