One of my favorite dates....

He arrived in his old brown farm truck...It made me wonder...He came to my door carrying handpicked wildflowers (truth)... ...Again I wondered what was up...As we walked toward his truck, the passenger door burst open and his kids, a boy and a girl, jumped out and hopped into the bed of the truck, which I noticed was fitted out with two bales of hay and a few old quilts...I'm still wondering...The kids were giggling...He walked me to the passenger side and held my hand as I climbed into the cab...Still wondering, just not asking cause I loved him ...We headed toward town, drove straight through and he pulled into our local drive in theater...I will never forget the movie that was playing...It was a Disney film called "The Fox and The Hound"...The movie choice was for the kids...Everything else that night was for me...So special...

And drive in theaters ..Not meet there, drive in together.....Showing my age, but wish they still had them!...Perfect place to make out...

Yeah, by the time I was old enough to go to the drive-in and make out, there were no more close by.

They were a blast Matt! ...We used to get the whole gang together and meet there...Seldom watched the movie, but we shared a lot of beer and put pancake makeup over our sucker bites the next morning before coming to the breakfast table...

Depending on the season round here.

Aw, man. I love the whole drive-in culture, just wish I could have experienced it was a teen/adult.

I do have fond memories of going with the family, wearing my pjs and sitting in the back seat.
