Communication is the key to any relationship, that and trust.

It's starts early on and is the basis for everything.

Starting out as little comments on forums or blogs. Moves to private E-mails. Here we find out early on if the other person has what it takes.

Whether it's potentila serious relationship, or just a poissible friend.

Do they read your e-mail and not answer, or not answer for days? Most of us have experienced this. Very upsetting once you've built some type of repore with another. Do we get upset? Hell yes we do. How do we react? Do we send more E-mails? I say no, I've been there, I've done it, It just adds to your frustration. If the person can't communicate at this early stage, they really aren't worth your time. The lack of consideration by not communicating properly will only lead to further lack of consideration. Anyone else feel the same?

I don't think everyine has the GIFT to be able to communicate here. I think some people are just rude. There is not much you can do about that...

If you have to chase anyone, then it's a wast of time.

Absolutely, I agree 109%. One thing I learned fairly quickly was there's no point in me trying to send any messages to anyone within 897,000 miles of me. They just don't reply.

But I do get a lot of e-mail from people on this site, all from very very far away. Which is fine, I have made some truly great friends here.

As for the locals, screw 'em. I don't need any self-absorbed, rude, insensitive snobs in my life anyway. If I wanted someone like that, I could have stayed married.

by God, writing a short email does not take more than one minute.
