I have met 2 women on dating sites that i was in a relationship with. And some other women that i met on dating sites are still friends of mine. Also playing online games helps sometimes. I found one of my x gf's on a Role playing game. So in my opinion it really works. As long as you do not stress out in meeting people. And expect too much from it from the very start.

People does dating sites realy work ...?
Have you ever seen those late night commercials for cheap exercise products that are guaranteed to work? With websites of testimonials and before and after pictures? Have you ever bought one? If you have you'll find they come with instructions to change your diet, and integrate it with escalating exercises in other areas. Online dating sites are a lot like that. They promise a lot, but really, you have to do all the other things yourself in order to be "successful;" not needing the site at all, really, in order to obtain results. So does it "work?" Not in and of itself. You can't just show up, slap a profile up, sit back and wait for the love of your life to chase you down and "lub you forebber and ebber." If you can get a date without the internet, if you can successfully have a relationship without the internet, then internet dating will "work" for you. |

This just came to my mind.. Can we change our names here? How do we do that? Can I change my user name? Once an account has been created, it is not possible to change its user name. So, in order to get a new user name, you will have to register again. Since we only allow one Mingle2 account per email address, you'll have to use another email address to create the new account. For those who do go this route and register again, be sure to deactivate your older account. http://mingle2.com/welcome/faq_account |
