Topic: Best Girl Ever | |
---|---|
I just got this on another site, and I have to wonder why nobody like this girl ever contacts me here?
======================== My character is joyful, kind and well-balanced. I am very sociable and communicative. I eager to learn more about the world. I lead active life style and keep in shape usually ? that is all about my nature.I would like to meet a serious, independent man with good sense of humour. I value kindness. I would like him to be careful towards his dearest and nearest people. I value a personality ? just need sincerity and trustworthiness. My hobbies include sport, especially dancing. I am interested in cultural life of the city ? I visit different exhibitions, concerts and clubs. Also autos are one of my interests. There are so many things to learn and be interested in? together! =========================== Fantastic. I value a personality? too. I could spend YEARS with her just working on how to use question marks! I think this is the one.... |

Maybe it's her accent, a lot of people end sentences on a high note, with a questioning inflection... Could be The One.. |

Or whatever software the site was using wasn't communicating very well with her OS or browser or language setup or etc., which results in question marks being put in instead of whatever punctuation was intended because the punctuation is seen as an 'unrecognized character'.
Happens to me sometimes too. But usually only when I use a π or something. |

be nice, maybe she is just learning to type without looking at the screen. hey i still use two fingers.

hell, you see it all the time with apostrophes on some sites.

Sounds like a Russian to me, Lex

? What's wrong . with the ? way she, is using " her punctuation! or is that a , ? Maybe? you are . being " shallow, Remember ? it's the . content , and not the presentation " that counts !

The site in question has a reputation for being "home away from home" for lots of Russian scammer girls (let's face it, why else would I have signed up?), so I just automatically assumed she was another one of them!
The strange thing is, her profile says she's from a little town just a few miles from here. Maybe there is some sort of Russian enclave over there that no one told me about! -- "I wish they all could be Vladivostok girls...." |

Luv that beach boys song!!
Soooo...
I bet she just has a really inquisitive nature! I think the real question is, "why are you on a site that is known for Russian scammer girls?" Surely it can't be *just* about the vodka! |
Bay -- I have this thing for Russian scammer girls. Besides, they are the only ones who are ever impressed by a big stack of rubles.
Vodka? No, I don't drink! |

Well, I'm a little concerned about that whole question mark business. When I see question marks all over the place, it can only mean one of two things -- either I'm going to be interrogated by the KGB, or the Riddler is on the loose again....
I think shes just asking you about the same things she has question marked!!
(((((((((LIKE HOW ABOUT YOU?))))))))))) What do you think about livein in the city? Get it??????? |
? ? ? ? ?
riddle me this riddle me that is she a scammer? or should I give a slap? |

OK, let's take a look at these question mark bits:
"I lead active life style and keep in shape usually ?" Me too, usually. On Tuesdays, I eat an entire gazelle and sleep in a ditch, but I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle the rest of the week. "I value a personality ?" Me too. 40 rubles. "I am interested in cultural life of the city ?" Which city? Moscow? "Cultural life" is KGB abductions and a few hours of freezing, waiting in line for toilet paper and black market trendy American jeans. My city? "Cultural life" means watching cows swish their tails. Which is worse? You make the call, Ludmila. "There are so many things to learn and be interested in? together!" "Punctuation for Dummies" is first on the list, nyet, comrade? |

shes asking herself these questions as shes typing them because shes just not sure!!!!

Well, according to her profile, she lives in a total farm town. I'm not a farmologist, but I have never known farmers to talk with question marks like that.
"It's supposed? to be sunny? all day." "Then we should paint? the barn." "OK, but we? will have to take all the cows? and pigs out? so they don't inhale the? paint fumes and get sick and go? insane." "We can have Ernie take them to? the mall and? they can play on the escalator? for a few? hours." Maybe that's how farms? work in Russia....? |
