FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Demonstrators plan to block a major highway in St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon. They are seeking justice for the police shooting death of Michael Brown. They plan to shut down I-70 at Hanley road at 4:30pm. A rally is set to begin at 3pm.
Brown was shot to death by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson on August 9th. A Grand Jury is currently considering charges. St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch is presenting the case. The goal of the I-70 shut down is to get a special prosecutor appointed to take over the case. Well, if the GOOD people of St Louis will tolerate the bad behavior, so be it.

Well, if the GOOD people of St Louis will tolerate the bad behavior, so be it. We're not tolerating it. A severe thunderstorm is on it's way. ![]() |

yeah well that makes sense. I don't agree with the reasoning or the what but if they want to protest peacefully they have the right.
This isn't what I'd consider peaceful though |

might be able to take up arms on public land, but you cant block a public accessway,,lol http://fox2now.com/feed/ FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Demonstrators fail to block a major highway during rush hour in St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon. They are seeking justice for the police shooting death of Michael Brown. Police stopped the protester’s efforts to shut down I-70 They formed a line and met activists on Hanley road. Traffic was blocked on Hanley road while police met with activists. There have been over a dozen arrests at this point. Organizers of the protest have told demonstrators to move to Ferguson City Hall. They planned to shut down I-70 at Hanley road at 4:30pm. I don't personally agree with taking up arms on public land or obstructing access to highways,, better idea to take it to city hall , that would be a more legal way to hold a protest,,, |

I agree, MsHarmony.

They want Prosecutor Bob McCulloch to be replaced by someone else for this case. What's interesting is that the people of St. Louis County voted for McCulloch.

yeah well that makes sense. I don't agree with the reasoning or the what but if they want to protest peacefully they have the right. This isn't what I'd consider peaceful though Blocking a highway and throwing bricks and rocks at police officers isn't my idea of a peaceful protest either. |
