Yeah, I've had women not showing up once or twice. I didn't make a thing about it. Sometimes women get nervous. I haven't been stood up when meeting someone in a public place though and it was just women saying that they were going to come round to see me and then not showing.

I went out anyway,,lol I have never let myself be 'tied' to others plans if you say you will be there, be there, if you aren't there in a reasonable time,, my night goes on without you,,,

Has anyone ever been "stood up" for a date? If yes, what did you do about it? I tend to set up dates around something or some place I would like anyway. For example, last year this woman stood me up 3x, each time going oh I am sorry can we try again, each time I set it up for my favourite Turkish restaurant, which is around the corner from my favourite Anarchist bookstore; hanging out there was something I would have and ended up doing on my own anyway. Also, a woman didn't stand me up, but was so boooooooring, while I set up dinner at a bbq place, as she was craving it, I pick one in my favourite artist community, where I would have hung by myself anyway |

-Lame excuse, and I could tell. -Took my "friendgirl" at last minute -Saw date there with one of her friends -Cool "friendgirl" (just friends) Says, "Let's Eff with her!" (Kinda weird kissing a friend like that....but funny as hell) -Date who stood me up gets pissed. Efffff HER!

There was this one time though where we set up to meet at a restaurant that had a similar name to another. I ended up at one while she ended up at the other. A few confused texts later though we sorted it out and met up. |
