Relationships are hard things to build up but wat does a relationship mean to some people? Is it the sex? The company of another person? Or genuine love? Its different for everyone I suppose :D

Share everything the good, the bad, the interesting the boring. you build up each other support each other, and have each other's backs. They are the first person you want to call, with good or bad news. Build yourself, your partner, and your relationship. You just know when something is bothering them without a word.

Relationships are suppose to be 50/50, you have to have trust in one another. You have to be able to be there for each other no matter how much they make u mad. Being in a relationship is not all about sex, or showing each other off, its about being with that person that makes u happy when all u wanna do is crawl in a hole and cry. When ur in a relationship u are there for that person. U are saying that u dont care about all there flaws and that they make u so happy. Relationships are going to have there ups and downs but u have to make a effort to make it work. It takes two to make it and it takes two to break it.

LIFE-- it gives us a reason and a purpose for being----

It means sharing everything with your partner. Being there for each other completely. Holding each other up in bad times. Rejoicing in the good times. Helping the other reach their potential, their dreams, and the they do the same for you. Accepting each others faults, and being the first person you want to call with news, either good or bad.

Being able to rely on your other self you are a pair together or apart. I've thought a lot that it is not about the what we do but the who we do it with. What that means is just being with someone who feels you with a sense of belonging and being"home" is far and beyond doing something out of this world with someone you forget as soon as they are out of your sight. Sort of like the warmth from a gas heater as opposed to the heat from a log fire....the first stops as soon as you turn it off and the other lingers, stays with you.

To me...it means a LOT of work.... (Like another damn job)

I agree that is a brilliant reason for a relationship I suppose it gives us a purpose on the planet after all to find our so called soulmates :) :D
