Reading these threads I am inclined to conclude that it's young guys not having much luck with younger women and thinking that it will be better with an older woman. How many of these posters have actually been with an older woman? I have and the claim that you get less drama from them is bollocks for a start.

1. More likely to fail in the long term, so committing to you means little.

2. Perception of less competition. Fewer men your age are pursuing you.

3. Less likely to get knocked up.

4. You represent a greater social status symbol, or trophy conquest.
Which is more emotionally satisfying; winning the olympics, or the special olympics? Beating those with lots of experience, or those that are just screwing around on the weekend?

5. You reinforce their image that they are "adult." No different than the 16 year old that drinks beer and smokes cigarettes, or the 4 year old insists that he's not a baby anymore. You stroke his self image.

6. More willing to simply assume more responsibility in the relationship, or no responsibility in the relationship. Which means he either gets someone that takes responsibility for him
(a mother/madonna) or someone that only uses him for sexual gratification (whore) without any long term consequences like expected to stick around if you get pregnant.

7. If you reject him, less likely it gets around to his actual social group. He's less of a loser, he can rationalize it easier and get over the pain of rejection easier. It's not him at fault, it's his age, it can be externalized.

Basically, older women represent a win win situation for a guy no matter what happens.

I think because older women don't play any games. At least in my experience. They know what they want and they take it. Usually drama free. Also experience is sexy and they are just a lot of fun. So I tend to be attracted to them more...that's just me though! Always hoping there are cougars on the prowl lol

well any woman any age can play games so you just have to know the person but as in older we odviously have lived more and loved more and learned a couple things in the process of life. lol
