NO YOUR NOT WRONG!!!! BEING YOURSELF IS ALWAYS BEST BECAUSE '' THE RIGHT PERSON IS ALWAYS THERE '' WHEN YOUR NOT YOURSELF YOU GET OTHERS NOT THEMSELVES SO ALWAYS BE TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE AND YOU WILL ATTRACT OTHERS OF LIKE MIND---- HAPPINESS IS A GIFT WE CAN RECEIVE ONLY FROM OURSELVES..

Let me first tell you that as a fairly new writer I have
taken great inspiration from your talents. for this I thank you.
I still strive to write with your total honesty and I think in time
as I gain confidence, this may happen, at least I hope so.

As to your poem it reminded me of a conversation I had with my son
which went along the lines of.

Dad I hope I achieve more in my career than you did. (I was fairly successful.)
I said, " I hope so too, I think every dad wants that for his son."
Then I said "But I Want you to try for a much higher goal than beating me."
He asked what that was. I said "Be Happy." I am pleased to say my
son has done really well in his career. Sadly but not fatally he
has not yet achieved happiness. On the positive side, I think he
is realising what his dad really wanted for him.

That was fairly raw, and you can't go wrong with raw power. As long as you are yourself, you will also be able to fine tune it in terms of erudtion. But the honesty was wonderful. Good luck in expanding your talents.
