There are pros and cons to being tall. When you want to be found in a crowd, it works out great. But, when you want to not be found.. Well. Let's say I'd have to be in an area where a whole lot of NBA players are standing to not be seen. It is nice being able to change a lightbulb on my ceiling (8ft.) without needing to get a ladder, but at the same time, it's a pain in the butt to have to re-tie my shoes if I'm walking. Having to drop to a knee on concrete is painful after 9 years in the army(getting into vehichles meant for someone 5ft10) and another 9 years as a deputy. And another thing ALL of us taller people might have to worry about in our future is a disorder called Marfan Syndrome. It generally only effects people on the high side of 6ft6, but has been found in a few folks as short(?) as 6ft. Check out marfan.org for more info..

Well, I'm 5'10"... growing up I was always taller than everyone! By 5th grade I looked like an adult... by 9th grade I had reached my full height. Fortunately for me, by the time I hit dating age many of the guys caught up

I personally prefer a man that is taller than me... it is one of the few times that I can actually feel *petite* (or what is my perception of petite! ) A guy shorter than me just makes me feel like a hulking Amazon!

There have been times where I had to alter my choice of footwear.. more so because the guy felt uncomfortable... And for right now.. since I'm not dating anyone, it's really not an issue at all!

im 5'8 my take on tall women? it dont matter to me just a little higher to reach and everything is in my face

I am not real comfortable with my boobs at eye level with the man I am dating. It is hard enough for men to make eye contact when they are at eye level anyhow. lol

So it is hard for tall women to find a date sometimes huh? Are guys really intimidated in that sense? I get intimidated by tall beautiful women, thinking they can have a guy 10x better looking than me, with a nice hard body, and taller too. Yet sometimes I see tall beautiful women with short (yeah, even shorter than me) ugly guys who are complete asses. You know what? I am going out there and finding me some legs. LOL No seriously. I love even tall women. I don't care if she is taller than me. Love someone who loves you shoot.. That's what I say.
