To me 'a few extra pounds' should mean you're a bit overweight, not obese. So it should be a few pounds more than your normal weight for your height etc. (BMI)
Saying size 14 as average is sad, is a sad statement. For some ppl having size 14 = just a few extra pounds. Not for shortcakes I guess, but for taller ppl, yes! Most profiles here stating 'a few extra pounds' are downright fat. |
