God is like a boy that creates people all whit different triads and powers . And unleash them on earth just to see what would happen. And when he gets bored he bring a big flood and kills of all he doesn'��t like and makes a little boat for his favorite one'��s . And manifest himself in different forms (budha,jesus,allah,burning tree) And the result. Mass murder in the name of a religion. God is not a bad thing. People do what people will always do. Hate kill and destroi. Love procreate and rebuild. Gods biggest mistake???? Waithing this long for a bigg flood.

How naive. At that rate, there would be no "false" Gods. And most to all religious beliefs that pertain to a God(s) speaks of false Gods. And God didn't flood the world because he was bored, he flooded it because of the world's corrupt ways. So he cleaned the "trash" out saving the best of the faithful ones.

And not just that, but all the different beliefs "rules/regulations" would be exactly the same. There would be no need for all the diversity in between all the different beliefs.

I was kicked out of the Honours Programme in Psychology at University for term papers on assessment. "the diversity of the overall nature of our individuality" is not quantifiable. Just like sexual reproduction, diversity in individuals and individuality is the best adaptor to the surrounding environment. Physics will demonstrate that entrophy will generate chaos, it also demonstrates that left on its own chaos will slowly start self-generating order.

As to your last question- that is a philosophical/theological question which is also unanswerable unless the operational definitions are modified. Does a father know the child he rocks to sleep will grow into a mass murderer? Is iron forged in fire? Does the evil in the world prove that g-d does not exist? Does the good in the world prove that g-d exists?

As belittling as that statement seems to me, it's the truth though. Imagine for a second, just hypothetically speaking. If the world was so cruel and corrupt to the level of God flooding it out to basically start fresh so to speak, can you imagine how corrupt and "evil" the world would be today if it had just continued on from there?

I suppose People believing in other Gods can feel that theirs are real just as much as you can "Feel" that yours is "Real"!

And they can believe it all they want, it is their choice just as it's my choice to believe in that which I believe in. I did not say any particular "god" or "gods" or specifically somebody's was false. People have all the right to believe in which ever "god(s)" they wish to believe in. We're not here discussing the validity of any specific belief. Just various things of certain different beliefs at different times.

And again anything said in this forum is not directed at any specific person or persons and or their specific beliefs. Just speaking on a general broad term on a mutual level area.

And the context of the "false gods" in this perticular discussion was that all the different gods, beliefs are all the same god. And that's where I went off into at that rate, there would be no false gods. Not claiming who's is false, who's isn't, or if they're all false. Was just a general term, not pointed at any specific.

If i take 500 chain saws apart and throw them in a cement mixer with some gas and bar oil for 5000 years, will i (a) have a running chain saw . or (b) mush? how much more comlicated is even the simplest life forms than the most complicated machines whe have yet devised/ , ye t we are supposed to take as fact that two amoebas somehow manufactiured themselves in a mud puddle? in my opinion that would take a lot of faith to believe. MIT did a study on the probability of life creating itself, or whatever you want to call it this week, at, as the theory changes about every year or two, at 10000000000000000000000000000/1 against.
