We see so many posts about love as if there are rules and guidelines everyone must follow. My view is there is no right or wrong answer. Love is unconditional and ever expanding. You can love just one or you can love many. It can vary in type, strength and depths. Perhaps the biggest problem is we try to hard to find and/or understand it. Or maybe I'm just weird. Lol

Why do you get such a thrill out of being rude. I posted the because I saw like 4 threads in 1 day where people were trying to assess love as if it could easily be broken down in black and white. I do not put my personal ideas and experience down for attention I tell it because it is all I know and do not wish to act like a know it all when I KNOW I still have much to learn. If I wanted attention the way you claim I do you would see a heck allot more poor me why me blah blah blah. Only ONE of my threads was self centered the rest are just common interests and one drunk rambling that I wish I knew how to delete. You do not know me so please stop jumping to conclusions And if you don't like what I say then skip by it instead of being mean.

'love' is an overused word. I agree it has far too many types of 'love' for us to try to understand it in any concrete way.

I think people look for COMPANIONSHIP, and call it 'love'. Love happens,, but not always in ways that result in companionship or healthy relationships.

I am a mean person, what can I say...

Any man in my life whom I'm going to love WILL have 'conditions': he's not going to hit me, be unemployed, go to prison/be an ex-con, be a drug user simply to make it through the day, etc.

Exactly there's never a right or wrong answer on this level. People have different desires, different wants, different morals, standards, ect. Just people here sharing how they personally feel about specific things and getting to know one another on a deeper level then "hi my name is..."
