So I know I'm not the only one who gets messages spouting out compliments here there and everywhere but I was curious to see if other people find ridiculous compliments as much of an annoyance as I do. I would much rather someone be open rather than tell me I am 'the most beautiful flower to have ever bloomed' (yes someone just sad this). I know what I look like and find people saying things like that annoying!
Thoughts?

i just think they are scammers or con artists and their messages get thrown in the trash unreplied.

I very seldom ever read junk mail, and its easily identified by a quick glance at the sender's packaged advertising.

I get a lot of those messages. Mainly from people from like Uganda and the Philippines. I just trash them as soon as I get them.
Not ripping on the people from either country but chances are pretty good they are cons looking for a quick buck etc.

Im talking about when i get guys messaging me saying 'Oh my god you are the most beautiful woman ever' bla bla which Im obviously not. What I am saying is that it annoys me cos it's a blatant lie of how they feel to try and get somewhere and that I would rather they be honest

Don't discount the fact that some that give you compliments are regular guys who are just trying to get your attention. "Hi, you are pretty cute so you want to get together?" is a boring approach and you would pass them by. Give credit for interest and originality.

You are a special case to many men as you represent fun without commitment which is widely desired. From that standpoint, you are beautiful indeed to many.

Same. I'm sick of getting the usual messages. I actually had the 'fallen from heaven' line this morning. If angels look like me, no wonder people sin lmao x

Regarding e-mails that I haven't received on this site (wasn't that thrifty?), I know that girls probably get worse messages than guys. Serious fact.

But, I mean, I'm honest about the fact that I have a girlfriend, which is why my profiles says I'm 'looking for friends'.

A girl from another site (seriously) left the ER to come to a party with me at a hotel with a "Through the Looking Glass" motif. It was fun and there was free pizza, but she left the bloody ER.

So, yeah, unrelated dating site, but people get really into the idea of things rather than the played-out narrative.

Also, I definitely climbed off a table to the second story until I couldn't get any higher. Unrelated, but it must have looked awesome.
